Just to reiterate updates (retail ones) now work with this new payload<br />How?<br />1. Get install and test ps3 proxy manager<br />2. Start and game up wait until the update starts? cancel it<br />3. Start your ftp app (1.1b)<br />4. On your pc using the logs part of the proxy app download your retail package file<br />5. then package using demomanager*<br />6. ftp the folder with the package in it to your ps3 in hd00/vsh/temp/<br />7. start it up in non-jb mode install the patch from the xmb<br />8. restart your ps3 in jb mode<br /><br />*if there is more than one pacth for now u need to do this twice or u demoinstaller<br />*more advanced users can edit the SFO<br /><br />Confirm Games that work with this method:<br /><br />Fightnight r4/Unreal3 ? updates with ease<br />Fifa 2011 ? Showed new message ?please insert your fifa 11 disk<br />Ridge racer 7 ? update works<br />God of War 3 ? update does NOT work<br />Infamous EU edition ? with no English, works. Can now play in English<br />Killzone 2 ? works. Needs two patches.<br />Sports Champions ? Does not work. System freezes.<br />Uncharted 2 ? update does NOT work<br />Valkyria Chronicles ? Update works.<br />Resident Evil5 Gold Ed- does not work<br />Tiger Woods 2011 ? doesnt work System freezes<br />Assassins Creed II v1.02 ? asks for disc.<br />eye pet ? crashes console<br />Dead Rising 2 ? does not work<br />Red Dead redemption ? not working<br />White Knight Chronicles ? now works with no freezing, crashes on quiting<br />F1 ? now works with no freezing, crashes on quiting<br />GTA iv 1.06 ?
