Hun hits waren meestal Engelstalig, maar BZN heeft ook Franstalige hits <br /><br />gekend. De laatste jaren zong de groep in het Nederlands. Hun albums zijn met 88 gouden en (dubbel)<br /><br />platina platen beloond, waardoor ze veruit de beste verkopende albumartiest in Nederland aller tijden <br /><br />zijn. Ook zijn ze de enige band die op albumniveau meer dan 30 jaar lang elk jaar onafgebroken in de <br /><br />album top staat (1977-heden). Op single-niveau heeft BZN de meeste Top 40 hits (55, waarvan 22 in de <br /><br />top 10), en zijn ze de enige artiest die 26 jaar achtereen minstens een hit in de Top 40 per jaar had <br /><br />(van 1973 tot 1998). In de Single Top 100 en voorgangers heeft BZN 59 hits gehad. De band was het <br /><br />meest bekend in Nederland, maar was ook in andere landen populair, met name in Zuid-Afrika (9 met <br /><br />platina beloonde albums). In 1990 was BZN de eerste artiest die in Nederland de magische grens van 5 <br /><br />miljoen verkochte geluidsdragers overschreed. Wereldwijd zijn anno 2007 meer dan 12 miljoen <br /><br />geluidsdragers van deze band verkocht.<br />
