Requiem
Het Verdi-jaar 2001 werd in de Berlijnse Philharmonie op een grootse manier 
gevierd. De Italiaanse maestro Claudio Abbado dirigeerde de Berliner 
Philharmoniker, het Swedish Radio Choir en het Orfeón Donostiarra de San 
Sebastián in Verdi's Requiem, een van de indrukwekkendste stukken ooit. U hoort 
en ziet vier topsolisten: Angela Gheorghiu (sopraan), Daniela Barcellona (alt), 
Roberto Alagna (tenor) en Julian Konstantinov (bas).
