Je moeder kwijt in de supermarkt? Krijg je je 1e puistje? Er is maar één iemand die kan helpen: Captain Flamingo! Milo Powell is een heel gewoon jongetje… totdat er een kind in de problemen zit. Elke keer als iemand "Uh-Oh! Captain Flamingo!' roept, verandert Milo in Captain Flamingo, de redder in nood. Zelf is hij nogal klunzig, maar samen met zijn beste maatje Lizbeth, redt hij vele kinderen uit de meest vreemde situaties. Milo belandt elke keer in onmogelijke avonturen.
